Accommodation
As for accommodation, we won’t go into detail about the hotels in Xiamen.
There are many family hotels in the area around Chan Chu Aun, which is a hub for tourists who come to Xiamen on their own. They are close to all the attractions in the city, such as Music Plaza, Huang Chu Beach and Ye Feng Zhai Amusement Park on the left, Xiamen University, Hulishan Fortress, Nampu Tuo, Zhongshan Road and Gulangyu Island on the right (only 5 minutes by taxi or 15 minutes by bus). It is twice the size of Zha Chu Aun, so if you don’t have to go there for any particular reason, I wouldn’t recommend it, but there are enough family hotels in the area.
